B2B Marketing Case Studies
Every B2B growth challenge is different.
Some organisations need credibility before entering Europe. Others want stronger founder deal flow, better enterprise positioning, higher-quality accelerator applications, or real visibility around a funding round.
Each case below states the commercial problem, the strategy built around it, and the measured outcome. Rather than listing deliverables, they show how Startuprad.io helps technology companies, investors, accelerators, institutions and ecosystem organisations solve real commercial problems.
Every case links to its full write-up. If one of them describes your situation, the partnership framework and pricing is the next page to read.
Economic development: turning a German state into an international investment story
Renewed five times — the legal maximum available to a public institution.
Invest-in-Hessen needed international founders and investors to understand why Hessen belongs on a shortlist of European technology locations. Startuprad.io built the English-language series Tech Startups Germany, explaining the region through the people building companies there rather than through institutional claims. It charted in 18 countries and was adopted as official investor-attraction collateral by the state's trade-and-investment agency.
Relevant for economic-development agencies, trade-and-investment organisations, ministries, regional startup hubs and universities. The wider commercial challenge is covered in the Grow in Europe handbook.

Accelerator founder recruitment: filling every cohort with founder stories
500,000+ video views and 300,000+ podcast downloads per batch.
A multinational corporate accelerator faced the same problem with every intake: a cohort announcement creates attention but does not explain why strong founders should apply. Startuprad.io built a multi-batch founder-spotlight program placing participating founders at the centre of the story. The program was renewed across successive batches.
Relevant for corporate accelerators, university incubators, public startup programs, innovation hubs, venture studios and demo-day organisers.

European market entry: building credibility before selling
250,000+ plays within weeks — and a second campaign.
A newly funded Silicon Valley unicorn arrived in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with funding, a product and no regional familiarity among the decision-makers it needed. Startuprad.io became its dedicated regional media partner, creating commercial context before the company relied entirely on direct sales. It came back for a second campaign.
Relevant for international B2B SaaS, cybersecurity vendors, cloud and infrastructure companies, enterprise software providers, AI platforms and newly funded scale-ups entering Europe. The recurring patterns behind this challenge are set out in the Grow in Europe handbook.

B2B thought leadership: how a hyperscaler earned relevance with founders
238,000+ verified cross-channel contacts and 14,000+ organic shares in 75 days.
One of the world's largest cloud and AI providers did not need brand awareness. It needed founders to see it as relevant rather than as another enterprise selling infrastructure. Startuprad.io built a founder-focused series connecting its expertise to real startup growth problems. The volume of organic sharing shows the material travelled well beyond controlled distribution.
Relevant for cloud providers, AI companies, developer platforms, cybersecurity vendors, enterprise software providers and corporate innovation teams. The campaign architecture is described in Media Partnerships and Campaign Design in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Market entry Germany: launching a FinTech product without performance advertising
241,800+ contacts across multiple platforms in four weeks.
A United Kingdom-based B2B FinTech unicorn was launching a business-account product into a market with strong local banking expectations. Rather than buying clicks, it chose an ecosystem-oriented approach: the launch was connected to the founders, freelancers and decision-makers who would actually open the account.
Relevant for FinTech companies, RegTech providers, payments companies, financial-infrastructure vendors and international financial-service companies entering Germany.

Corporate innovation: launching a bank's European FinTech program
Launched in 2016 and still running a decade later.
A multinational bank needed relevant FinTech founders and developers to understand a new startup partnership program before launch day — something a press release cannot do. Startuprad.io ran a content-led partnership: a pre-launch executive interview, hackathon media support, and interviews with the winning teams. The executive content drew international technology press.
Relevant for banks and insurers, corporate venture teams, enterprise innovation programs, developer platforms, hackathons and corporate accelerators. Commercial questions are answered in the Partnership FAQ.

Trade fair marketing: turning an event abroad into a campaign at home
Charted in 17 countries across a six-week campaign.
A global B2B technology provider wanted to reach SME and technology buyers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland during a major international trade fair — an event its regional audience would not attend. Startuprad.io built a cross-platform activation that translated the event into content for the markets the company actually wanted to sell into.
Relevant for enterprise technology providers, telecommunications companies, cloud and infrastructure vendors, industrial technology companies and organisations launching through international trade fairs. The wider campaign architecture is described in Media Partnerships and Campaign Design in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Organic distribution: 116,000+ LinkedIn impressions in one week
116,677 organic impressions and 90,816 unique members — no paid promotion.
One post analysing the composition of a record robotics financing round became the highest-performing LinkedIn publication in Startuprad.io's history, during the slowest month of the year. Distribution was almost entirely algorithmic, with 99–100% of impressions coming from outside the existing follower network, reaching founders, managing directors, engineers and investors at organisations including IBM, Microsoft and ASML.
This is Startuprad.io's own distribution, not a client engagement. It is the editorial approach applied to partner content.

Strategic content examples
The examples below demonstrate Startuprad.io's editorial capability. They were not commissioned partnerships, and no commercial relationship is implied.
B2B thought leadership for investment firms
146,000+ measurable consumption events, and a second engagement past 207,000 audio streams.
Most fund communication is temporary — a press release lasts days, a conference appearance reaches one room. Two European investment firms turned an investment thesis and a proprietary research study into content that keeps explaining their position years later. The 2023 research publication is still distributing today and has been incorporated into the Startuprad.io knowledge graph.
Relevant for venture-capital firms, private-equity firms, corporate venture teams, institutional investors, family offices, banks, consultancies and any organisation publishing proprietary market data.

Additional partnership examples
Startuprad.io has also supported a full-funnel media partnership for a senior technology and research conference, and has worked with global technology and professional-services companies including AWS, Merck, Deutsche Bank, Slack, Vanta, Huawei, Nord Security, Tide, Younium, Keeper Security, Capco, Deloitte and Dassault Systèmes.
These span different objectives, formats and commercial models. Not every cooperation is suitable for a public case study, and some partner names and campaign details remain confidential. See also our recognition, rankings and industry validation.
What these case studies have in common
None of the strongest partnerships began with "which media format should we buy?" They began with questions like:
-
What must the market understand before we approach it?
-
Which audience must recognise us?
-
Why does this commercial moment matter now?
-
What evidence will buyers, founders, investors or applicants look for?
-
Which assets should keep working after the campaign ends?
-
How will the resulting content be used inside sales, recruitment, investor relations or executive communication?
The format followed the problem — whether the organisation was entering a new market, launching a product, announcing a fund, recruiting founders, explaining a public initiative, supporting portfolio companies or establishing a category position. The partnership framework sets out how each format maps to a commercial objective.
What results can a partner expect?
Startuprad.io does not promise that a partnership will reproduce the numbers above. Results depend on the strength of the underlying story, the relevance of the subject, available spokespeople, timing, chosen formats, partner activation, the market environment, and the organisation's own commercial execution.
Objectives and performance measures are agreed before an engagement begins. Depending on the project, reporting may include podcast streams and downloads, radio delivery, video views, website activity, social engagement, geographic distribution, audience-quality indicators, referral activity, campaign delivery, content reuse and available attribution signals.
For detailed answers about measurement, attribution, pricing, editorial independence and procurement, see the Startuprad.io Partnership FAQ.
Which partnership model fits your situation?
Strategic Content Partnership — from €12,500 For a defined market moment: funding announcement, product launch, investment thesis, market entry, accelerator cohort or category education.
Startup.Radio Frequency Partnership — €9,000 for three months For organisations with an established message that need repeated audio presence over a focused period.
Annual Partnership — from €4,000/month For organisations that need sustained market education, repeated presence and coordinated activity across several commercial moments.
The complete framework is available on the Startuprad.io partner page.
Have a similar commercial challenge?
You do not need a finished campaign plan. A useful first conversation starts with the audience you need to reach, the commercial objective, why it matters now, the timing, what success would mean internally, and who is involved in the decision.
We will then determine whether Startuprad.io is a suitable partner and which format matches the actual problem.
