Jochen Engert is a German entrepreneur and one of the three co-founders of Flix SE, the Munich-headquartered European mobility company operating FlixBus and FlixTrain. He co-founded the company in 2011 in Munich together with André Schwämmlein and Daniel Krauss.

As part of the founding team he has served on the company's management through the launch of the FlixBus coach brand in Germany in 2013, the launch of FlixTrain in 2018, the 2019 acquisition of Kamil Koc, the October 2021 acquisition of Greyhound Lines, the June 2021 Series G growth round of more than $650 million, and the July 2024 joint investment by EQT AB and Kühne Holding AG for a combined 35 percent stake.

Engert has been part of Flix's leadership through its establishment as the largest European intercity coach operator and one of the principal European scale-up cases for the asset-light platform model in mobility. Through Flix he is connected to the group's operating brands FlixBus and FlixTrain, the acquired operators Kamil Koc and Greyhound Lines (acquired from FirstGroup plc), and to Flix's rolling-stock supplier Talgo. Flix competes with Deutsche Bahn AG on the German long-distance rail network.
