In November 2021 Clark and Allianz X agreed to integrate the finanzen Group, a European insurance lead-generation and comparison platform, into Clark. The transaction made Allianz X Clark's largest minority shareholder, extended the group into further European markets and lifted Clark to unicorn valuation. Clark reported revenues above €135 million and a positive operating result for the 2023 financial year. Its closest structural comparator in the German-speaking market is Wefox, which pairs a broker platform with a licensed carrier.
