Jörn "Joe" Menninger [00:00:02]:
Hello, and welcome, everybody. As you can see, all here. We are here in the beautiful city of Mainz. By the way, my native city, I was born, very close to here, and I want to introduce you today to another amazing podcaster and his podcast, Bartosz. Can you introduce yourself?
Bartosz Kajdas | Founder STARTUPS FROM SCIENCE [00:00:19]:
Hi. Yeah. I'm Bartosz. I'm a podcaster since 2019, and, I'm, yeah, I'm a science tech venture building expert and a b to b pitch trainer.
Jörn "Joe" Menninger [00:00:32]:
We may add that in the background, this is actually Curios 2024 where we are on the hunt together for very interesting startups. You're going to interview a few and you do the interviews in English. Right?
Bartosz Kajdas | Founder STARTUPS FROM SCIENCE [00:00:44]:
Right. I'm here to interview the startups, mostly from BioNTech and life science, disciplines. So strongly connected to science topics, and that's why I'm here. And I like here this atmosphere with poster presentation, with scientific, scientific, topics, and, of course, startups who are challenging and facing really cool challenges and who wants to solve that.
Jörn "Joe" Menninger [00:01:12]:
I have to admit quite a lot of stuff is going very fast over my head here, especially if you consider some of the research posters we have here. But don't get me wrong, I do understand a few. Batush, beef we always ask a few questions, and I know a lot about you. You've been, not only claiming yourself to be, an innovation expert. You have been working in the transfer of innovation at University of Heidelberg and Technical University of Darmstadt. Right?
Bartosz Kajdas | Founder STARTUPS FROM SCIENCE [00:01:43]:
Right. Yeah. I did that, for 10 years. So 5 years in Darmstadt at the Technical University and 5 years at the university, at Heidelberg. So I guess at that time, I covered all disciplines of innovative start up ideas. And this is quite amazing because at the end, it's like every start up is facing the same problem or same challenges, but, like, in different disciplines. So this is quite amazing to see how this is, like, connected together.
Jörn "Joe" Menninger [00:02:14]:
And, of course, people can find you on LinkedIn. And where can people find your podcast?
Bartosz Kajdas | Founder STARTUPS FROM SCIENCE [00:02:19]:
Yeah. So I'm on Spotify, on Itunes, and, like, the the the most common podcast platforms, or you can type in, startups from science.com. So this is my website where all, like, all streams, all my content, all my information are are placed there so you can, like, go through it. If you are a researcher, a scientist, a sciencepreneur who wants to become or found a company out from science. So there are all informations about intellectual property, about, I don't know, how to, yeah, do your spin off out from the university. So different related topics to that to that, to that topic and, yeah. So startups from science or LinkedIn, Bartosz Kaidas, and I'm happy to connect with you.
Jörn "Joe" Menninger [00:03:10]:
Everybody who's watching this or listening to this, go down here in the show notes. We'll link his LinkedIn profile and his website. Thanks, guys. Have a good day.
